As a nursing professional and Delaware County resident for more than thirty years, I have a strong, local background in personal geriatric care, emergency care and case management. I’m also a board member of Community Interactions (CI), an organization that provides assistance to individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and dual-diagnosed behavioral health challenges.
The idea for Kind-Hearted Care first came to me when my own mother’s age-related needs increased. She wanted to remain independent, but required help with many tasks she had accomplished by herself in the past. With work and other family responsibilities, I was often hard-pressed to help her as much as I would have liked.
Researching the subject, I saw a void in this vicinity for flexible and affordable home assistance and decided to start my own company of caregivers providing compassionate “helping hands” as needed.
